To truly understand ZenVen, we first need to look at the two words that form its foundation: Zen and Heaven.
At first glance, you might have your own interpretation of what these words mean.
Everyone's understanding of "Zen" and "Heaven" varies, and that’s the beauty of these concepts—there is no singular definition.
For me, Zen means "being one with myself and the world around me, maintaining a state of calm no matter the circumstances."
However, as I matured, my understanding of Heaven evolved. Raised in a Pentecostal Christian household, I was taught that Heaven is a place we reach after enduring life’s hardships—a realm where happiness, peace, and fulfillment await.
But as I grew older, I began to question this idea:
Imagine reaching the end of your life and realizing that your experience on Earth is your eternal resting place.
Would you wish you had created your own Heaven here, instead of waiting for the afterlife?
Life is meant to be joyful, euphoric, and fulfilling.
We don’t have to wait for Heaven after death. As my pastor used to say, "The kingdom of Heaven is within." This belief planted a seed in me: the realization that Heaven is already inside of us, accessible when we allow ourselves to be in a state of Zen.
It was through this revelation that I understood: to truly access Heaven, we must embrace Zen. Thus, the word ZenVen was born—a fusion of Zen and Heaven.
ZenVen represents a state of enlightenment, where one can access Heaven from within and achieve true peace.
You deserve peace.
